Visiting Washington, D.C., from Anchorage, Alaska
Will be in D.C. later this month, arriving evening of January 14th, leaving morning of January 27th. We are just now forming Permaculture Guild in Alaska. One project is presenting the concept of Transition Town to front runners for Anchorage Mayor. A happy and hopeful new year to all!
It’s that time when pundits, celebrity watchers, movie critics, etc. recap their top-ten favorites and “unfavorites” of the year. I could add my own entries to the throng, but Sarah van Gelder of Yes! magazine does a far better job expressing the fondest hopes of this Ecolocity member, with her outstanding list. See especially #8 below:
