I am interested in furthering the objectives of the Transition Town movement
What skills or experience would you share? We need architects, artists, planners, scholars, farmers, web wizards, fundraisers, vintners, vegan chefs, grant writers, carpenters, beekeepers, scientists, dreamers, lobbyists - you get the idea ...
I had a career as a software engineer, and have "soft" skills in areas like writing, artist, technical writing, carpentry & electrical (finishing a basement), spreadsheets
What would you like to offer?
labor, technology, skill
What are your areas of interest?
alternative commerce, clean energy, permaculture, urban farming, zero carbon

We look forward to your participation in anchoring our vision with your
energy and expertise as we seek to live more sustainably and equitably.
We plan a wide range of programs and your input will be welcome.

We meet twice a month due to the enormity of the challenges and the
urgency needed to address the issues that face us - 1st & 3rd
Tuesdays, 7 pm at Emergence Community Arts Collective, 733 Euclid Street
NW, WDC 20001. Our programing goes something like this:
1st Tuesday - Planning, organizing, networking
3rd Tuesday - Activity, workshop, project
Committees and groups meet as needed.
