I'm looking to connect with other people in this area - particularly Arlington - who are building sustainable, nonviolent communities.
What skills or experience would you share? We need architects, artists, planners, scholars, farmers, web wizards, fundraisers, vintners, vegan chefs, grant writers, carpenters, beekeepers, scientists, dreamers, lobbyists - you get the idea ...
I am a writer and radical homemaker living in Arlington, VA. My experience includes green building, environmental grassroots activism and almost two decades working for sustainability and environmental nonprofits in DC. The issues that I am working on now include food sovereignty, animal rights and non-violent resistance through building an alternative economy, society and culture. My blog is the "Fearless Vegan" http://fearlessvegan.com Relevant skills include vegan cooking and foods, urban gardening, green building, communications and all kinds of writing from advocacy to grants.
