The Net Zero Energy Residential Test Facility is located at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The facility will be used to demonstrate that a typical residence in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area can produce as much energy from renewable resources as it consumes on an annual basis. NIST will use this project to develop and demonstrate.
About Therrien Waddell & Daniel Coffey, VP of Business Development
Therrien Waddell, Inc. has extensive knowledge and experience in green building systems and installations. Therrien Waddell completed one of the first green roof buildings in Montgomery County, Crystal Rock, in Germantown, Maryland.
Daniel Coffey joined the Williamson to TW team in 1992 after holding senior project
management positions for local major real estate developers, general contractors
of all sizes, and specialty drywall and carpentry companies. As Vice President of Business Development, he is the key individual providing leadership and conceptual estimating to staff and customers.
