Tom and I enjoyed the Tim Bank training in the morning on Mon Feb 13. I will be staffing the Time Bank display at the Earth Forum this Sun Feb 19 from 2 to 4:30 pm, as well as sharing fliers and inviting people to our "Hungry for Change" NWEI Discussion Circle on Thursdays 7 - 8:30 pm from Apr 5 through May 24 at Historic Oakland.
People giving to and receiving from each other restores natural, social and cultural capital back to our local community. Our gifting each other diminishes our reliance on the interest-bearing money system. This slows down the out-of-control poisoning of our air, water, soil, and protects the commons for the future instead of turning our care of each other into 'money' which is actually debt. http://sacred-economics.com/read-online/
