Skills Inventory + call for database expert

Greetings, we would like to start getting input from our members on their skills they bring to our collective efforts toward transition. I've done a draft of a Skills Inventory for your review. Please let me know your reactions, additions or corrections.

I would especially love to hear from any of fyou who know how to make the info gathered useable, in a database that can be sorted, reports run, etc.

Thanks and regards,
Gerri

Hello!

I've filled out the skills inventory and attached my answers to this response. I propose asking people to rate themselves in each category by level. "None" would mean that you think you have no skills in that area whatsoever. "Limited" means that you have only a little experience, but believe you would have potential for learning more. "Medium" means that you have good, solid experience. "High" means that you have professional, academic or very long-term experience in that area. If you felt you fell somewhere between the areas, you could indicate that. You could then create a database and be able to sort by those categories. I think having succinct categories will make it easier to fill out, and then people could add their own explanatory comments as needed. What do you think?
