DESCRIPTION:The Northern Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) is hosting
  3 separate, FREE, screenings of \"Green Fire\" in March!\n\nGreen Fir
 e is the first full-length, high definition documentary film ever mad
 e about legendary conservationist Aldo Leopold.  The film explores Al
 do Leopold’s life in the early part of the twentieth century and the
  many ways his land ethic idea continues to be applied all over the wo
 rld today.  The film was shown in community screening venues across t
 he country throughout 2011, and will then be released on public televi
 sion in early 2012.\n \nGreen Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for
  Our Time is a production of the Aldo Leopold Foundation, the US Fore
 st Service, and the Center for Humans and Nature.  Although probably 
 best known as the author of the conservation classic A Sand County Al
 manac, Leopold is also renowned for his work as an educator, philosoph
 er, forester, ecologist, and wilderness advocate. \n \nThe Northern 
 Virginia Conservation Trust (NVCT) has partnered with several environm
 ental groups across Northern Virginia to provide free, public screenin
