DC Council Hearing on Community Solar Bill

Show your support for renewable energy in DC this Thurs., June 14 at 1:00 at the DC Council hearing on the Community Renewables Energy Act of 2012. It's important to pack the hearing room with supporters -- bring along sunflowers to show your support! 

The bill would allow any DC Pepco customer to participate in a community renewable energy project, whether it's located on their property or in another location in DC.  The project's energy could then be divided among the participants and credited to each participant's Pepco bill, just as current building owners can do now.  The bill opens up the renewable energy market to renters, people whose roofs aren't suited for solar panels, and others.  Sign the letter of support now at:
