EcolocityDC presents Composting 101 with Ed Bruske, the Slow Cook! A former writer for the Washington Post and a founder of DC Urban Gardeners, Ed now tends his "urban farm." We're going to be learning the basics of composting from Ed, starting at his house.

I'm so glad people are excited! I think it will be a lot of fun. If you're interested in composting, come to the meeting on Tuesday as well, as we'll be doing a "lasagna gardening" workshop. Lasagna gardening is basically a simplified version of composting. In addition, we'll be doing two more composting workshops, one in September and one in October, so stay tuned!
