Event Description
Urban agriculture is critical to reducing our carbon footprint, localizing production and developing food security. We'll begin to shape our policy covering agricultural education, technology, production, distribution and marketing.
We'll discuss:
* Plans for the Emergence Garden spring planting and the rest of the year
* Proposed community garden at Justice Park
* Upcoming CSAs
* Sharing backyards
* Upcoming Rooting DC Urban Gardening Forum
* Upcoming SPIN Gardening workshop
Join us with your ideas, learn what others are doing as we start a new year, a new plant-based life in the city.
